Fuzzy algorithms in medical decision making processes

We propose in this paper a fuzzy algorithm for modeling medical diagnostic processes. A new aggregation rule is employed to handle the imprecision and relative importance of symptoms in a better way. An application example is presented to illustrate the proposed algorithm.
