P‐13: Presentation of Visual and Audio Information for a Human‐Computer Interface

Abstract One experiment was conducted to compare 4 information displays on a multimodal interface. The results show that in term of memory accuracy, cognitive workload, the visual display of information was more predominant than the audio display of information. This research on multimodal information display has focused on how complementary information in different modalities can be combined to arrive at a more informative representation.
