An Adaptive Potential Filter And Its Application To The Hog
Zhu Bin, Yisheng Zhu · 2005
This paper describes an adaptive potential filter (APF) & its application to the cancelling of noise in the saccadic electrooculogram (BOG) which is a nonstationary, noisy step signal. The governing parameter p, which controls the convergence rate, is time-adaptive dependent on the error signal. Computer simulation and analysis of experimental results proved that the APF provides a rapidly distortionless noise cancellation and accurate estimation of the saccade duration and peak saccade velocity. With appropriate choice of reference input, APF can be used in processings of various biomedical signals.
