We discuss the performance of a congestion control algorithm developed for DARPA's Survivable Adaptive Networking (SW) packet ra- dio network. We show, through analybis and sh~- lation. that the algorithm effectively regulates source flows without severely limiting network throughput and achieves ma-min fairness in a large class of situations. We dso malyze its speed of rel;ponse and robustness.
