Finite and infinite frequency preserving transformations in linear systems theory

G.E. Hayton, A.C. Pugh, P. Fretwell · 1985

A characterisation of infinite zeros in terms of a natural extension of the idea of infinite elementary divisors of a matrix pencil to matrix polynomials is proposed and used to investigate transformations which leave unchanged the dynamic structure of the systems at both finite and infinite frequency.
