Method of constructing de-Bruijn sequences

Benjamin Arazi · Electronics Letters · 1976

It is shown how a de-Bruijn sequence of length 2n, which is considered to have ‘good’ random properties, can be generated by starting from a p.n. sequence of length 2n−1−1. The number of different sequences which can be generated from the same p.n. sequence is 2n−4.
