Efficient simulation of CDMA systems in wireless mobile communications

Khaled B. Letaief, Mounir Hamdi · 2002

Direct-sequence based code division multiple access (CDMA), with its inherent privacy, interference rejection and anti-multipath capabilities have been the object of much attention in wireless personal and cellular mobile communications. In this work, we consider the performance of asynchronous direct-sequence CDMA systems employing BPSK modulation. In addition, we illustrate the use of simulation based tools for the efficient and accurate performance evaluation of such systems in a wireless mobile communications environment that is characterized by a slowly varying, Rayleigh fading, discrete multipath links.
