A Practicable Adaptive Averaging Method For Evoked Potential Research

This paper p roposes a new method of a daptive meraging, which synthesises both a daptive filtering and werlapping averaging methods to dispose evoked potentials (EP's). we have considered the noise induced by weights vector error and presented a rectifying f actor to imprwe the estimation character: The number of samples needed by the new method is less than conventional werlapping a eraging method and the effect has an improrement obviously. Theoretical analysis and practical results indicate that this adaptive aeraging algorithm is a kind of promising and practicable method for processing evoked potentials.
