A common software platform for realizing integrated Bellcore software systems

The challenge of significantly improving software development productivity and software product quality while trying to meet the needs of clients is discussed. In order to help meet these challenges in a cost effective and timely way, a common software development effort was established. This effort provides a common software platform for new software systems across multiple heterogeneous computing environments. It also forms the basis for large-scale systematic software reuse.>
