Production of broken line patterns with standard Ben Day

Broken line patterns, commonly necessary in geologic and physiographic diagrams, but not available in standard Ben Day sheets, can be produced by the use of standard linear patterns, overlain by various negative patterns. Methods of producing broken line patterns are herein described.
