Several methods for solving the extended Lyapunov matrix equations

This suggests four methods for solving the extended Lyapunov matrix equation. The first one is based on the Jordan canonical form. The second one considers the Schur reduction method. The third one takes into account the eigenvalue decomposition of the matrix. The last one is the Squared Smith method.
