Derivation of continued-fraction expansions from the coefficients of power-series expansions of a transfer function

This correspondence presents a rule for deriving various forms of continued-fraction expansions of a transfer function from its power-series expansions around several points. This rule is especially useful for computing multipoint Padé approximants to a given function rational or irrational.
