A simple DDS architecture with highly efficient sine function lookup table

A simple architecture for direct digital frequency synthesis (DDS) is presented. The proposed architecture uses a sampling-only-algorithm (SOA) to achieve a high compression ratio of 558 in realizing the sine function look up table, which is higher than the prior arts.
