Radiometric and spatial aspects of speckle filtering

This article reports on a comparative study of more than 30 different speckle filters, based on quantitative performances measures as well as visual criteria. Both radiometric and spatial aspects of the filtering problem are analyzed. The authors propose an improved method for local structure detection in speckle filters.
