Research and Events that Permitted Facsimile Use to Explode in Japan

There are several reasons why the facsimile is so well accepted in Japan. First, there is the cultural, social background of Japan. Second, we must acknowledge the Group 3(G3) facsimile and encoding standards. Third is the development of an efficient communication network for high performance facsimile machines. Due to these three reasons, Japan leads the world in the utilization of facsimile service. This fostered the superiority of Japanese facsimile equipment.
