A user interaction paradigm for physical browsing and near-object control based on tags

paper, we present a user interaction paradigm for physical browsing and universal remote control. The paradigm is based on three simple actions for selecting objects: pointing, scanning and touching. We also analyse how RFID technology can be used to implement this paradigm. In a few scenarios, we show the po- tential of augmenting physical objects and environment with digital information.
