A class of optimum duration-bandwidth discrete-time wavelets

The average time-duration bandwidth product of a family of wavelets is a measure of the simultaneous time and frequency resolution of the associated wavelet basis and wavelet transform. In this paper we present a class of discrete-time orthonormal wavelets that have minimum average duration-bandwidth product.
