ASP.NET Web Applications
Andrew Troelsen · Apress eBooks · 2003
The previous chapter concentrated on the composition and behavior of ASP.NET pages and the Web controls they contain. This chapter builds on these basics by examining the role of the HttpApplication type. As you will see, when you derive a type from HttpApplication, you are able to intercept numerous events that allowyou to treat your Web applications as a cohesive unit, rather than a set of stand-alone *.aspx files. These keywords were added by machine and not by the authors. This process is experimental and the keywords may be updated as the learning algorithm improves.
