A note on one-step extrapolation procedure

In 1979, J.A. Cadzow proposed a one step procedure to extrapolate a bandlimited signal. It is found that the existence of signal z(t) is not valid in the L/sup 2/ space. A remedy is proposed using the prolate spheroidal wave function.
