An Adaptive Resource Management Technique for a HSDPA Network
Xinzhi Yan, Jamil Yusuf Khan, Brendan Jones · 2007
This paper presents a bandwidth management technique, which adaptively allocates radio access network resources to optimize the QoS and performance of a high speed downlink packet access (HSDPA) network. The paper also examines the impact of Node-B buffer size on air interface performance. Both analytical and simulation results show that the proposed algorithm improves both the HSDPA air interface and the Iublink utilization by jointly optimizing the resource allocation processes.
