There is a communication between players in a musical cwperative performance. Players develop relationship or new musical expression with the communication. In this stady, we analyzed mechanism ofthe musical cammunication by measuring the musical aspects and the physiological aspect ofa cooperative performance. Ihe results were that (a) where musical difiiculry is high, musical rhythms did not relatively synchronize, however respiration rhythms relatively synchronized, (b) there war a musical interaction between players, and new music tempo pattem emerged, (c) where musical difiiculty is high, musical rhythm coupled with respiration rhythm strongly. To interpret these results, we hypothesize that playen pay more attention in difficult music part, and propose the new musical commnnication model that consist of musical level, physiological level and attention level.
