Small Scale European Databases And GPS Application

This paper presents a technology for a European scale geographic database for international transportation applications: the Global Positioning System. Using a highly sophisticated procedure of nation-based projective transformations followed by a tailor-made non-projective transformation, the result is a geometrically uniform and seamless European database.
