Synthesis of Hazard-free Asynchronous Circuits from Generalized Signal-Transition Graphs

The major result is the necessary and suficient conditions for synthesis of hazard-free asynchronous, speedindependent circuits from s:ignal- transition graphs (STGs), one of most effecdive models for designing controldominated asynchronous circuits. The generalised STG model is free from the restrictions of the previotrs models. Major novel aspects o,f synthesis of a two-level srrmof-product implementation, which is semi-modular with respect to the output signals, are presented.
