A Nsvel Implementation of Acoustic and Electrical Echo Cancellers for a Full-Duplex Teleconference P

Sangil Park, G. Hillman · 2005

A real-time implementation of adaptive acoustic and electrical echo cancellers for a full-duplex teleconference phone is considered. Using DSP56200s a 3840-tap adaptive finite impulse response (AFR) filter is implemented for an acoustical echo canceller, while a 256-tap AFTR filter is used for an electrical echo canceller. A simple double talk detection algorithm is implemented on the DSP56001, which is also used as a host processor for the: DSP56200s, A/D and D/A converters. The DSP56001 assembly code is included, as well as the schematic diagram of the hardware board.
