Multi‐dimensional summations in FORTRAN
Anthony John Guttmann · Software Practice and Experience · 1976
Abstract A general method of calculating multi‐dimensional sums using the FORTRAN language is presented. In particular, a FORTRAN subroutine is given that calculates the required function arguments at each call. The usual arrangement of nested DO loops is discarded. The method makes it quite easy to change the dimensionality or range of the summation.
