Theory of Games
W. D. Wallis · Birkhäuser Boston eBooks · 2012
We first define two-player zero-sum games, and show how to represent them with matrices. Pure and mixed strategies are defined. The representation of 2×2 games by diagram leads to the definition of saddle points. The generalization to 2× n games and m ×2 games is followed by a discussion of general m × n games, and this leads naturally to solution by linear programming. The chapter concludes with a discussion of general solution of matrix games.
