Application of Non-Linear Image Processing: Digital Video Archive Restoration

In any field which makes use of images, corruption is a common problem. For broadcasters, it is desirable to have processes capable of removing unwanted corruption in archive video material prior to broad-cast. In this paper a method of video restoration is described which specifically addresses the problem of video scratching.
