The Asymptotic Solution of Some Integral Equations
Colin Atkinson, F. G. Leppington · IMA Journal of Applied Mathematics · 1983
Asymptotic solutions are found for two separate integral equations (one of the first kind and one of the second kind) when a small parameter tends to zero. In each case an “outer” approximation is given for most of the domain and an “inner” solution is calculated (using the Wiener-Hopf technique) to provide the finer structure near the end points.
