Edge Disjoint Realizations of Two Forest-Realizable Sequences

It is shown that if $\varphi $ and $\psi $ are forest-realizable sequences (of the same length) and if $\varphi + \psi $ is a graphic sequence, then $\varphi + \psi $ has a realization with a $\varphi $-factor (hence $\psi $-factor), i.e., $\varphi $ and $\psi $ have edge disjoint realizations (on the same set of vertices).
