An Enhancement of TCP Veno over High Bandwidth-Delay Product Networks

This paper observes that TCP Veno deals with random losses conservatively over high bandwidth-delay product (BDP) networks. We propose to use a variable named pBDP to help Veno handle random losses more intelligently. The simulation results demonstrate that, such enhancement can improve Veno's throughput up to 80%
