A neural network hardware model for image thinning

The authors propose a simple 5*5 cloning template of a cellular neural network for imaging thinning. The principle of the template design and hardware model are considered. Although the connected weights between the neurons are asymmetric, it is shown that the network is stable, and it can be easily realized.>
