Statistics of the minimum coupling loss in UMTS/IMT-2000 reference scenarios
P. Seidenberg, Matthias Althoff, Egon Schulz, G. Herbster, Meik Kottkamp · 2005
The minimum coupling loss (MCL) is an important parameter when designing the characteristics of a new mobile communications system. A method for evaluation of the MCL in the UMTS/IMT-2000 reference scenarios specified by the ETSI is presented. Furthermore some results are given for respective maximum subscriber densities in terms of maximum spectral efficiency for the speech service.
