An Infrastructure for Real-Time Interactive Distance E-Learning Environment
Jian Yu · 2009
The real-time interactive distant education has been gradually applied to the actual teaching activities. The real-time interactive distance e-learning environment is urgent needed to support teachers and students to carry on collaborative learning over network and Internet. This paper presents an infrastructure for real-time interactive distant e-learning environment based on the VNC technology. The computer's desktops that are used by teachers and students can be connected directly through VNC server and VNC client to implement the common real-time interactive e-learning functions such as the electron blackboard simulation, the broadcast, and the surveillance monitor. The system can be applied to the distant collaborative learning with original teaching program.
