An Efficient Method In The Design Of 2-D Recursive Digital Filters For Communication Systems

This paper presents an optimal design approach of 2-D recursive digital filters on the basis of symmetry. After studying, a method used to guarantee the stability of the 2-D recursive digital filters that make the complex checking of the stability be more simplified, Nth-order coefficient matrix ge- neral formulas being directly used to design are derived. Filter design example is included.
