Design of an optical power supply for biopotential measurement systems

For the power of multichannel biopotential measurement systems generally batteries are used. To overcome the disadvantages of battery power, an optical power supply is designed and constructed. The main components of the optical power supply are the high power diode laser and the photovoltaic cell. For the safety circuit a back-up battery is added.
