A Single-Chip Real-Time MPEG2 Video Decoder

A single-chp MPEG2 video decoder is developed in 0.6pm CMOS on a 12x12mm2 die. It operates with 16Mbit of DRAM at 27MHz to support real-time decoding and digital video output of MP@ML encoded video data.
