A 3-D Shape Reconstruction System For Biomedical Research

In this paper, the framework of a 3-D shape reconstruction software system used in biomedical research is reported. The system mainly includes two packeges: 2-D contours extraction and 3-D shape reconstruction. The new methods used in this system are described. This paper also shows the application of the system in neuro-physiology research and medical CT images.
