Speckle reduction by wavelet transform [SAR]

Presents a new method of speckle reduction by incorporating the refined Lee filter in the spatial domain with wavelet shrinkage. Experimental results are very encouraging. Speckle is suppressed to a great extent without affecting the edge sharpness much.
