CDMA capacity - can you supersize that?
M. I. Salkola · 2003
Superconducting technology enables highly selective and sensitive filters for base-station receivers. At cryogenic temperatures, compact thin-film high-temperature superconducting filters combined with low-noise amplifiers significantly reduce the effective noise figure of the receiver. Their impact on wireless CDMA networks is explored using a mean-field analysis and numerical simulations. Potential benefits of superconducting technology include increased capacity utilization, coverage efficiency, quality of service, and data rates.
