A new compact differentially driven slot antenna for the Bluetooth protocol, integrated in a small 15x15 ceramic ball grid array package is presented. The antenna structure has an omnidirectional radiation pattern with non-linear polarisation. The reso- nance frequency and bandwidth are tunable and resonance frequencies at harmonic frequen- cies of the operation frequency are supressed by the filtering characteristics of the antenna.
