Real-time Pitch (frequency) Shifting Techniques

A technique for generating an interpolated signal for frequency (pitch) shifting applications is the topic of this paper, which covers the filtering algorithm used to generate the coefficients needed to interpolate samples in realtime, the speed of the algortibm in terms fo instructions cycles on the Motorola DSP56001 digitat signat processor, and a comparison of parameters affecting the signal to total harmonic distortion + noise ratio (STHDNR).
