Cluster-based texture matching for image retrieval

Texture is an important attribute for medical image matching and retrieval. We present a texture matching based on clustering texture features which characterize the texture information. We have implemented this technique and tested it for a medical image database of CT images. The test results show that this method have a high efficiency of retrieval.
