Improved Girault identification scheme

K. Chen · Electronics Letters · 1994

At Auscrypt'90 a three-pass identification protocol using coding theory was presented which is very simple to describe, but is not practical because the proposed scheme requires a large amount of communications and memory bits. The author proposes an improved protocol using rank distance codes, in which the number of both communications and memory bits are greatly reduced.
