On oscillations in cellular neural networks

We make a qualitative study of the dynamics of diffusively coupled identical systems. In particular, we derive conditions on the mutual coupling of the systems that guarantee global synchronization of the systems, and analogously, conditions that guarantee certain oscillatory behavior to occur.
