Abstract:In recent years, work on sentiment analysis and automatic text classification in Arabic has seen some progress. However, the problem of emotion classification remains widely under-researched. This work attempts to remedy the situation by considering the problem of classifying documents by their overall sentiment into four affect categories. This work was originally published in: International Journal of Computer Applications, Volume 65.0, Issue 16.0, Pages 10-14, 2013.This version is archived in the Arab International University (AIU) repository for open access and dissemination purposes. The content of this paper has not been modified from the original publication. For more information, please visit the official repository of Arab International University (AIU): https://www.aiu.edu.sy
