1.6.4 Requirement Management Versus Models

Douglas J. Stemm · INCOSE International Symposium · 2001

Abstract This paper will discuss the experience of two projects that wanted to manage requirements and design their system using a model‐based design process. The effect on the engineering community was significant. Trying to use requirement management tools that are specification‐based in a model‐based design process also had problems. The experiences of these projects will be used to form conclusions that will be of benefit to other projects that want to move into model‐based design.
