Maximisation of squared cumulants for blind sourceseparation

Maximisation of any squared cumulants (order ≥ 3), as long as these are different from zero, is sufficient to achieve blind separation of instantaneous, independent, linear mixtures. A novel third-order cumulant based separator is introduced and some comparative simulation results are provided.
