On Decomposition of Multi-Valued Switching Functions

A general method for ‘simple disjoint’ decomposition of multi-valued switching functions is presented. It is also shown that the effort involved in finding optimum decompositions can be substantially reduced when a particular multi-valued switching algebra is considered.
