A Heuristic for Minimizing SBRR Homing Costs
Eleni Palkopoulou, Dominic Schupke, Thomas Bauschert · Optical Fiber Communication Conference · 2012
The shared backup router resources (SBRR) homing architecture leads to significant cost reductions compared to dual homing. We propose a novel heuristic approach and evaluate its performance for different network topologies and varying traffic demand.
