Real-time video indexing and non-linear video browsing for digital TV receivers with persistent storage
Kyoungro Yoon, Sung Bae Jun · 2003
As one of the first results of video indexing research, applied to real-world consumer products, we present genre-independent video browsing functions for digital TV receivers with persistent storage, i.e. PVRs. The presented browsing functionalities are enabled by real-time video indexing technology, which can handle HD-class MPEG-2 broadcast video in real-time.
